Where did it all begin and how did Platinum Concrete come about?It all started in 2020, a wild roller coaster of world pandemic obstacles forced a new venture which became Platinum Concrete. Based in Te Puke, Bay of Plenty, Kilby, our managing director decided after being in the industry for 16 years it was time to take the big independent leap and take the industry headfirst in the middle of a world pandemic. It’s been a challenging and rewarding journey for Kilby and his team, but he’s done it and continues to do it day in and day out.
Our team of concrete masters, operators, BIC technicians and industry partners know their stuff and they do it well. It’s not the easiest trade on the list, and probably one of the most challenging trades in construction but we all work together and get it done right the first time. With over 30 years of collective experience within Platinum Concrete we pride ourselves on quality workmanship and industry knowledge.
